About this prototype

SaveNadi is a prototype water-pollution monitoring and case-management system for Maharashtra's rivers, creeks and coast. It is a pilot operated by Aegis Knowledge Trust for evaluation by the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB). It is not an official Government of Maharashtra service, and nothing in it is an enforcement decision.

The sensor readings and the factories in this prototype are simulated. Factory names are replaced by made-up labels. Every record is marked to show whether it is real or simulated, and no enforcement action should be based on this data.

The system is built to be checked: every statement links to its records, every record is in a tamper-evident log, and the methods and limitations are published.
